I am from Sasktoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.
I played a lot way back when ('89 - '94), in a variety of leagues, all using second edition. When the local gaming store went under and a bunch of people moved away, and I joined the army, I stopped playing. It didn't help that I had bought 3rd Edition and did not like it one bit.
I think that the LRB is very balanced and much improved over third (and fourth), and I hope to be playing on FUMBBL for quite a while.
I try not to foul unless absolutely neccessary - too risky, and I feel bad if I permanently damage players. Although one time I crowd pushed on turn 16, and I still feel bad about it. Yet I don't play wood elves...
I have a hard time with the sort of delaying tactics that involve parking on the endzone line and waiting three or more turns. It's OK (IMHO) to drive slowly when you have the lead, but if you have a good chance to score, just do it for god's sake!
Whew, quite a rant.
I am married with a four year old, and another on the way - this has not overly interfered yet with Blood Bowl - far less than my job.
Good Luck, and see you on the Pitch!
