• This game is not funny. It never has been, it never will be.

• The game has one objective: Putting the ball into the opposite end of the field. If anyone thinks something else, let them do so – and lose!

• Always play with style, but don’t expect the opponent to do so.

• Only bad dice can lose the game. Never question your coaching abilities.

• Only good coaching can win the game. Never excuse a brilliant victory with fortunate dice.

• The only good elf is a dead elf. There is no pride in winning with those sissies.

• There is a way out of every impossible situation, but if you don’t try, you’ll never find it.

• Expect the worst to happen at every down.

• Be an honorable coach: Never stall when within scoring range, never kick players that are down, and don’t make late game crowdpushes.

• Finally: What kills you only makes you stronger. In the end, it’s those W’s that count!
