Philosophy:
Above all this game is about having fun. I'm not saying that I don't try hard to win, or that I don't get a little frustrated when two double-skulls is rolled. However, constant grousing and bad sportsmanship is what makes people hate playing this game. I love the game, so I hate to see anyone do anything that hurts it!
Fouling:
We all know that fouling is a part of the game. I will generally kick a few guys each match for tactical reasons too. On the whole though, I do not like fouling, especially when it is perpetrated against a vastly outnumbered and overmatched team.
Game Clock:
Love the four minute timer! I will often finish my turn within the four minutes. Somtimes though, a situation requires a bit more study and careful movement. I may go slightly over the four minutes. I figure that in the end though it all evens out. If you cannot stand a coach that goes slightly over four minutes a few times each game, you don't want to play me. I play to have fun and to try and win, not to set a land-speed record of the fastest game ever played online. If you need constant action to feed your A.D.D. then go play a first-person shooter, not a turn based strategy game.
In-Game Chat:
BloodBowl is best played on a board, in person, where you can see and (shout at/make comments to/laugh with) your opponent. The chat function allows the closest thing to jaw-boning with your friend and I like to use it. If you want complete silence, please let me know ahead of time. It will be kind of dull, but I will leave you alone.
