I used to play tabletop Blood Bowl back around 1999-2000. I had stopped playing until I found Fumbbl in 2004 and I've been playing on and off since then.
I am a competitive person, so I play to win, but I also play for fun so I usually focus more on scoring than maiming. Win or lose, my favorite matches are against nice people with a good sense of humor.
<b>Ranked Policy:</b> In general I will accept any even strength match. My skill teams usually wont play heavy bashy teams until they have developed enough skills to defend themselves. My bashy teams will play just about anyone.
<b>Dirty Players:</b> I usually dont play a team with 2+ Dirty Players unless I have a similar number of DPs.
<b>Fouling:</b> In Ranked, I rarely foul unless tactically necessary. I will, however, go after players like a one-turn scorer, claw/rsc combo or blodge/leap/strip ball player just to get them off the pitch. In League or Tournament play I may foul more often.
<b>Crowd Pushing:</b> Absolutely. If you stand on the sideline, I will try to surf your guys. If I stand on the sideline, I expect to get surfed.
<b>Stalling:</b> I find stalling to be a valid tactic, although I dont usually do it except in League or Tournament play. If you can stall against me, go for it as it means I have messed up.
<b>T16:</b> Late in a game, once the final score has been decided, there is no reason to try to cripple an opponent. I dont foul/crowd push/make excessive blocks late in a match unless you are doing it to me.
<b>Whining:</b> Blood Bowl, as the name implies, is an extremely bloody game. Nuffle is a capricious god with a sick sense of humor. Your favorite player will die. You will roll quad skulls. You will fail a game winning GFI with sure feet. I cant always laugh it off, but I try and I have a lot of respect for people who show good sportsmanship whether they have good dice or bad.
