I've been playing Blood Bowl since 1989 when the Star Players Handbook came out for 2nd Edition. Was recruited to a league in High School, then brought the game to friends in the neighborhood. Painting models got me into Scenic Design in college and have since moved more into the lighting industry. But painting and lighting are still the fascination for me on the hobby side and will continue to be.
Played in a store league in Minneapolis mid to late 90's, but took a haitus from about '98 until I found FUMBBL in 2009. Met Duder here and found he was in the Twin Cities area... and that got me back into tabletop (which is still my preferred way to play).
Found the NAF and tournament scene when I moved to IL, as there were just as many tournaments happening as opportunities for league play. Fast friends made there and meeting people that I'd only interacted with here are what occupies what free time I have... and it will continue to keep me young and immature into my old age ;)
