Right now I'm taking a break from using my Dwarves or Chaos Dwarves, and playing those races. Had too many boring games that make me want a refund on the hour and half of my life wasted playing with/against them

The photo is of me n my son, Alexander. I look knackered cause nights shifts suck and they kill your body faster :(

As you can see for a long time I was in the 140s, and that's more or less where I still view myself skill wise. I struggle to beat anyone in the 160s upwards, they are simply better players than I am!

Personal observations about teams:
Khemri, Amazon and Chaos Dwarves are the hardest teams I've faced, off the top of my head.
Dwarves i find tough to play against, but can't get my head round how to use them. My current ranked Dwarf side has a reasonable record but is so dull I may never use them again. And they have overall -1 cas. Probably one of the few Dwarven teams on here to do so I expect :) Also, I can't actually remember ever playing against Dwarves. Am I the only coach who finds caging with guards and shuffling down the field very very boring indeed?
Orcs - I have loads of orc sides. They are boring for many coaches, but I love them because they make a crap coach (me) seem better. I just get on with them.
Elves - I've just started trying Elven sides again and unlike before, I'm trying to protect them by playing vs Elves or similar for their first 4 games. Cherrypick? Actually, no. My previous elven sides often got pounded into mulch before they got to 4 games therefore wasting my time after I retire what's left. So this time I'm giving them a reasonable start - as best I can. They still get cas but not near so many. Or at least, I hope so :S
Ogres - I will generally beat Ogre sides. The downside to that is that I'm generally on the end of a right kicking in return. It's the price you pay for the win, and it may even smash your team to pieces. So, win or team survival? Your choice :)
Vampires - I'm not good enough to win with vampires. those coaches that are have my utmost admiration. Broken, but in a bad way - Vampire teams, in my opinion, are crap.
Norse - these guys are a bit weird. Against low Av teams they have a chance. Against high AV (9 usually) they have lilttle or no chance. As such, it kind of limits you - linemen have a poor selection of skills and generally take tackle which means elves don't wanna know. Or Dirty player, in which case no one wants to know. And they die. A lot. In droves, even.
Oddball teams - I applaud those lunatics who show up with odd teams - full of linemen and no positionals. I've turned up to a few and found all zombies when I expected mummies, ghouls, wights and so on. To those guys I have a lot of respect and won't go mad on bashing, fouling (even with ref) crowdsurfing or any other nasty stuff. They are all about fun and I wish them all the best. Plus a spell in a rehab clinic cause they are all bonkers :S
Skaven - I find these guys hard to play against. Because of the speed, and av7 vs me never seems that bad, whereas for me it seems disastrous (take a look at my current Norse team - their record is 3 players left on field at mo, and a couple of teams came close to beating it) When played right (GR ready to pounce hand off and score) I reckon a good coach can really kick ass with these guys. I am not one of those coaches...
Humans - this team is an enigma to me. There is no reason why they should do so well - average in most respects, above average in speed (MA7 and 8). I not only have problems playing vs them but seem to do ok with them, even though I know they are a game or two away from being smashed to pieces. I should maybe use them more and make my mind up.

Been rough lately - scraping wins with hardly any players on the field for big periods is probably a test of character, but after a while you begin to feel cursed :(
I am trying, as best I can, to get match ups within 10TS and 10TR so as to shut the occasional fuckwit up who claims I'm a cherry picker - when a quick glance through their matches reveals they will happily play +20, +30ts then call someone else a cherrypicker.
