I discovered Blood Bowl a long time ago, on the first Cyanide game, when it was released. I tried it and... found it awful. Seemed too complicated to me, I guess I didn't expect that when I bought the game. So after playing a bit to the real time version of the game, I quickly abandoned it.

Then, a few years later, I found the game somewhere in my shelf, and decided to give it another try. Knowing what kind of game to expect this time, I took the time to understand the rules and to look at some advices for beginners on the internet. That's when I really started to enjoy the game. Unfortunately there was no one left on the servers of this old version of the Cyanide game, so I could only play against the AI, which was terrible.

Then I discovered fumbbl, and this was a revelation: finally being able to play against real players, chat with them, most of them being very nice. Since then I can't stop to play and watch games, and try to keep improving to reach the top level!
