I used to LOVE a game called 'Laser Squad' (Gollop brothers pre UFO/XCom). In this little 1-2 player spectrum/amiga game you controlled a small armed squad of future troopers. anyways... In it you could easily win the first, assasination based, level just by taking the rocket launcher and levelling the whole thing (optionally laughing insanely). Everyone did that once or twice. Some always did it thereafter, some learned to beat that level with only a knife and a pistol with 6 rounds. I chose the latter route as i crave elegance in my gaming.

That's also why i didnt foul a lot in LRB4 and dont cpomb a lot in CRP..

But thats just my choice.

Numbers are there to look pretty, not mean things. If only we stopped attaching meaning to the numbers and starting seeing them like flowers. But then some people insist on competing for the prettiest flowers don't they?

My goal is to game in a way that makes me happy, and to try not to even imply, let alone state, that anyone else's choices of how to game are in any way lesser than mine
