Thanks to Christer and the rest of the staff for making FUMBBL the best place on the internet! I found FUMBBL back in 2006 and haven't really looked back; it was my Blood Bowl gateway drug. In 2008, I attended my first tabletop NAF tournament, and another addiction was born. To some online coaches I'm a TT guy, and to some TT guys I'll always be a FUMBBLer, but I like to think I'm just a Blood Bowler.
I think the micro communities in leagues are one of the strongest aspects of FUMBBL. The White Isle League (for British and British based coaches) is clearly bestest, go join #whiteisle FTW!
If you live in the north west of England, look up the Waterbowl for a great TT league.
Since I moved to the south (Cambridgeish), I have a new league! If you're in the area, look up the HDWSBBL. Really good league, nice guys, well run. Just look at that website for professionalism!
As life has changed, I seem to have less time for FUMBBL. I still really enjoy it when I get a chance to play in a quiet house when I'm awake and I can concentrate; although that's rare these days! I think I play my best stuff on tabletop now following a caffeine injection, but I hope to not be a total walkover online. :)
