Been playing BB since first edition (can't believe its been that long) on and off. I spent most of my first several years playing mixed chaos back when they had the ally rules under hot debate, and looking forward to LRB6.0 just so I can play Chaos Pact again when they officially improve the 3 new rosters! I don't care if its all linemen... I just love fielding a team that looks that messed up.
Despite my team selection, I'm not a basher player. I like a tough running game... or as a friend here used to say, I try to make my Orcs play the running version of elf bowl. Mostly I just like tougher teams because I like to see teams develop and stars emerge.
If you have a ton of RSC, dirty player, etc., I'm not likely to play you. If you have a reputation for fouling, sidelining, etc., I don't want to play you. I played that game in my old league for years and years where everyone bashed, and player life expectancy was a few games. If you want to play that way, have fun, but don't play me. I won't enjoy it, and I won't play you again. I've played Wuhan a couple times. I've done my penance here too, don't care for it. I don't play tournaments anymore because I hate having to play bashing, fouling, sidelining teams.
But if you want to see stronger teams try and run the ball, flying goblins, and competitive fights on the line without fouling, sidelining, etc., I'm all for it.
And if you win, through good luck on your part, bad luck on mine, just great play, or some amazing plays, I'll be glad to congratulate you.
Beyond that - just want to say, Cusi, you're missed, my friend. The place isn't the same without you.
