I comment on every game now. These comments are NOT subjective. I make mistakes as I don't go back and replay the game to get every detail right. They are comments on my take on the game and how I feel about that. I'm hot headed (see below), and sometimes I post things in chat or my end of game notes that could have been worded better/less confrontational.

Really because of this, I've cut way down on the number of games I play. I'm in two leagues (NWFL and NCBBII) and will occasionally play in a tournament when I have the time. It really has helped my attitude when playing...mostly ;)

The Massacre of '36:

After a horrible game 36 vs Legend of the Lost Crusade, Coach Xeterog goes on a ramapge and kills most of the team, including these experienced players:

09 spp Mathew Dying
07 spp Gary

Luckily for the team, there were more than enough funds in the coffers to replace everyone, with only a 250k TV drop overall.

The only non-rookies to survive the carnage were: Sheldon (90spp) and Gaius (82spp)

Just in case you are wondering...I came up with the nick before I ever heard of the material Gortex.....

See waaay back when 3rd ed had just come out and Duke Nukem 3d was out (and I was playing it alot) I needed a nick for when we played at the store.

We played alot of WHFB, and I THOUGHT that Gotrek (the slayer of Gotrek and Felix fame) was named Gortek....Since I'm in Texas I thought it would be a great name if I changed the Tek to TeX (for Texas)..and thus, GorTeX was born. It wasn't until years later that I learned of the material Gortex (so, I don't pay attention to stuff like that)...and the name has stuck... so there :P

Later, while playing WoW with the nick, it got reported..so I was forced to change it..I reversed the letters and got Xeterog..and I actually like this one better now...

I like commenting all of my matches..sometimes it is fun to go back later and see my comments on a game. Also helps to keep track of who I liked playing and who I didn't. (only one so far is SoGoGi,)

I know now that I'm an average coach at best. I do have a firm grasp of the rules tho and have been involved in the creation of the LRB5 and CRP rules.

I get hot-heaed at times:

Here are some of my boneheaded moves I accomplished while very PO'd:
1) my best team ever, the Warpstone Ratz II have been retired. I get too emotional when luck goes really bad (3 deaths in 1 half)..could have gone on with the team, but I pulled the retirement trigger too soon...they were 15-5-8 but 4-3-4 in last 11 games..and 0-2-3 in last 5

2) 12/3/04 is a sad day for the students of KAMU, as the best player in KAMU history inexplicitly walked away from the game today in disgust. The team had been playing very badly of late, and he just couldn't handle it anymore. Yes, Larry Long Legs has retired from the team.

At the time of retirement, he was:

#3 all time in Dwarven SPP's at 157, just 18 spps from becoming only the 2nd dwarven legend ever

#2 all time Dwarven Scorer at 37 TD's (tied with Jiolk), only 11 TD's from the top dwarf, Kalde Skald.

Started up in the BlackBox after 5 years away from playing on FUMBBL when it started using the FFB client in Jan of 2011

Warp ztone Flinger best BlackBox Skaven passer at the time, died on 4/9, killed by Snak2: Snake Eater of Angry Angry Monkeys with Fangs.

Legends: Note that 3 of my 7 legends died in June of 2014. Three others were retired with -ST. Up to 2 living legends, though I don't play much BBox anymore due to time restraints, so Yasha doesn't play much at all.

Flash Killed late in a game that was already decided. Le Croqueur de salade of Vegans Power was the one to take him out (dead 6/4/14)

Junior SayOWThe game after Flash died, Junior was hit in the head by a fan thrown rock at the 2nd half Kick Off.(dead 6/4/14)

Terminator Tim Last block of a game gives him -ST, had to retire after 102 games (11/26/14)


Einztien retired as soon as he became a legend due to str 2 (got the -ST at 173spp, so he played a game and got to legend then retired on 12/18/12)

Hyper Speed Yet another rat to retire as soon as he gained legend status...but he was exceedingly injured..-AVx2, -MVx3, -ST, Niggle (and was MNG when retired on 1/3/13))

Warp Zzpeed died trying to GFI in a meaningless block in his 1st game as a Legend (Dead 6/26/14)

Yasha Got to legend in 51 games. Got her 1st completion to take her to legend status.

Campbell Took 54 games to Legend. Ball carrying/TD scoring Bull Centaur named after Earl Campbell. Plays in the
