Here's why you won't see me anymore on Fumbbl, for anyone who might be interested.
I stopped playing in 2011 when Fumbbl switched from LRB4 to CRaP. I hated the new ruleset for many different reasons, the main ones being how it was made by random idiots on an internet forum instead of actual game designers (which you can tell when looking at many of the new rules), and its main goal of creating a fair playing field between new and existing teams which I vehemently disagree with.
For me, inducements killed the game. Since the team building and progression aspect has always been what drew me into Blood Bowl above all, the concept that purposefully keeping your team value (formerly known as team rating) down would be optimal completely destroys the most fun aspect of the game for me. This game used to be about trying to improve your team against all odds, but now it actively discourages progression.
Gone are the days of being ecstatic about doubles and stat increases, seeing the cool things that stat freaks could do and at the same time being on the edge of your seat each game because of what might happen to those irreplaceable players while still putting them in harm's way for a chance to win a championship!
I stopped playing after LRB4 because I hated the new rules. I was hoping this new ruleset had fixed some of the issues I had with it while adding cool new stuff and so I came back in 2023 and gave it a fair chance. From what I could tell after about a dozen games and some discussion, it didn't fix any of the issues I had with CRaP and instead added new issues on top. What this means to me is that I'm done with Blood Bowl unless I can find people willing to play LRB4. Fumbbl not being a place that will help me do that anymore, there's no reason for me to stick around. And so I bid you farewell!

Some people ask me for a resource explaining how to do a one-turn score, so i'll put a few examples here for them to look at.
Update Jan-23-2009 : The one-turn scoring strategy page has been updated with some nice examples. Looking at those is a very good start! :) http://fumbbl.com/help:OTT
First, note that two sidesteppers are not enough to stop a one-turn score; you need three. Look at the last turn of this game for a good example: http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=1837051. Another thing to notice here is that a dodger on the LoS really hurts your chance of stopping the one-turn score.
Sometimes, you can still score even if your original blitz is a pow, and frenzy helps for that. There's a beautiful example i made up on the fly with dark elves. Look for it at the end of first half in this game: http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=1813311.
Sometimes, you can do a one-turn score by pushing a troll, and with just 5 guys on the field, as can be seen at the end of this game: http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=1846056. Of course, getting a quick snap helps! The moral of this one? Don't discount the possibility even if it seems unlikely.
A rookie catcher playing in his very first game can one-turn score just as well as anyone. In fact, he can do it twice! Not a bad way to earn your first skill, playing just two turns in the entire game! :-) http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=1975688
This game is a good example of how to do a one-turn score with a MA7 player. Had to push around a ST4 player too! :-) Look for it at the end of first half. http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=2176432
A great example (at the end of second half) of a MA7 one-turn score despite a pow on the blitz, without even having frenzy. This one was done by Synn. The moral of this one : don't place your three line of scrimmage guys next to one another! They need to be one space apart, else you make it way too easy to score! http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=1418298
This MA7 score</a> without using a blitz (keeping the blitz for the push through the line in front of the end zone) is not from a game, but is good reference material regardless:

Another great one-turn score, this time with only MA6, no frenzy and no quick snap! Great job smallman, but when will people learn not to bunch up their 3 LoS guys on turn 8? http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=2290112
Cool one-turn score i made by pushing Scrappa with Fungus, after the ball was kicked too far to allow a TTM. Look for it at the end of first half in this game: http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=2892289.
Great one-turn score (although there were a few mistakes, like inverting the tackler and the lino), done in the Fumbbl Cup by pushing a rookie goblin while the troll was knocked out. If i had known he would try it, i would have set up differently (no dodge on the LoS and players spread apart), but he took me by surprise and it worked! http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=3085610
Funniest touchdown ever. Look at turn 8! http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=2777644
Worst game ever. 3 ogres killed (including 2 in the first turn, one saved). 1 goblin killed and one niggled. Not enough winnings for a new gobbo, FF decrease. Ogre with block, AG3 and ST6 gets MVP, rolls a normal skill and ages a niggle. A team that was getting close to a level to compete in majors is ruined and will never be able to recover. I hate conceding, but this is a case where i should have done so right on turn 1 after 2 ogres got killed. Would have saved me a dead block MA6 break tackle ogre, a niggled block AG3 ST6 ogre, a dead gobbo and a niggled gobbo. http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=2181006
I take it back. This is the worst game ever. Warrior with claw killed. Rookie warrior killed. Warrior with AG4 -AV. Beastman with AG4 killed. Beastman with frenzy killed. Apo rolls a one. Only one non-perm CAS rolled against me all game. 20k winnings and -FF. http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=2197062
Although, this is way up there too. ST6 ogre killed. Other ST6 ogre niggled. AG3 dodge ogre niggled. Gobbo killed. Apo used on a dead MA6 ogre. 5 players left for next game, including 3 goblins. http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=2744425
Or there's this one. 6 perms in 9 cas, and after the game i get 2 skills : the thrower ages a niggle on his first skill, and the ag5 catcher ages a niggle on his 3rd. http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=3040194
