I've been playing Blood Bowl on tabletop on again/off again for about sixteen years, I think. I have a great fondness for orcs, chaos dwarves, chaos, nurgle, skaven, and undead teams (except vampires-too big a pain in the neck to play effectively), both on tabletop and on the fumbbl site. I won't make any bones about this: I foul, a lot. I try to do it when I feel it is strategically sound to do so, and I won't bitch if someone does it to me. I feel its an intrinsic part of the game. That is why I play the teams I do, for the most part high AV's or regen (but I just gotta play Skaven sometimes....elves with chaos attributes, how cool is that?). Anyway, to sum up, hope to see you out there on the pitch! BTW, beware, I'm known for pulling the occasional impossible play out of my butt, and no, I have no idea how I do it.
Update, 8/12/07:
That said, let me make this absolutely clear: fouling, hiring wizards (before or after the match is agreed to), hiring stars (same as above) are all fair game to me. I don't care if a coach does it to me, and I may in fact do it to you, even the dreaded turn 8 foul. I trust this shall be considered fair warning enough to prevent excessive whining, which I detest.
(Whining about the dice is fine though, I do it too!)
OY! One last thing, kicking players when they are down and/or trying to "clear the field" is what I consider to be a perfectly acceptable tactic, it's happened to me plenty enough times that I ain't gonna cry about it either way.
