CIBBL Winter Edition
With Winter coming to a close, and only one friendly remaining to be played by the local heroes, Seven Samples of Decay, what have we learned?
For once, it seems that Coach Aslak has had recruitment difficulties. The only beast of chaos he has been able to find has so small tentacles that it wasn't able to hold on to even the smallest of the Tilean players. And his muscle! Those weak Warriors of Nurgle can barely hurt a fly. In two full games, they have only managed to send a single guy to hospital! - how embarassing it must be for Aslak.
On the positive side, the team has yet to lose a game. Two very close games have been fought, and both have ended in a draw. While not the best of starts, its far from bad. But But But!, the opponents of the first two games are not opponents that can be compared to the coming league opponents, the worshippers of Slaanesh, Tzeentch and Khorne, so we caught up with the coach to see who he has lined up for the 3rd and most important game.
"So, Lord Aslak, after two less than stellar performances against some small pancies, what are your plans for the last of the winter friendlies? Are the rumours true that you have been make an approach to the coming undead Lizardmen team to teach the guys what its like to play against real warriors?"
Aslak looks at the reporter with his dead eyes, and takes his time responding..
"Well, I didnt send the team on this march just to look for pixies now did I? No, we are after one of the most ferocious races in the old world, the fabled Forest Goblins! Rumour has it that they make allies of the savage orcs, and the river trolls. I would much like to see one of those trolls, they most be very easy to turn to our cause, living in filth like that..."
A rather shocked reported looks at Aslak
"...Forest Goblins... What...?"
He never gets a chance to ask another question as Aslak marches on, humming the imperial march as he goes...

Didn't know senility was one of Old Papa Nurgle's gift. It kinda makes sense, though.
