Not naming names is all very well, but we can see who it is by looking at your home page.

Just like he shouldn't be tilted by his dice, you shouldn't be tilted by his behaviour ;) Welcome to the internet.. where people can show their worst and best traits without facing any consequence.

Be honest... you've been an arsehole to him! :D I mean you invited wood elves of a less experienced coach to play against your dorfs - that's damn cruel! :D

Agree that there are a lot of coaches who should try to enjoy their matches, engage with their opponent and not take the game so seriously. If an opponent is being abusive there's no need for a blog - screenshot it and report it to the admins.

@akuku88: Steady on. One coach is 8/4/26. The other is 6/10/39. More experienced but worse record. The opponent has 11 concessions in 38 games. Maybe he is a Cyanide guy. ;)
The main point though is that there ain't no good gonna come from blogs like this.

@akuku88 I have won 7 games out of 56, rarely played BloodBowl tabletop. I hardly think that gives me much advantage lol. Anyway Leap and high movement gives him more than enough advantage over me.

You can do with your blog whatever you want - i dont think thats a good use for it.
And understand: an elf will always be hurt after falling from his high horse.

as a 145 member i am pretty upset you didnt recommend the 145 to this opponent, who clearly is in need of:
Some help
A morale boost
good advice
to be helped to not concede
All of which are 145 services.
Every coach we lose is one less BB player. This is bad for FUMBBL and for all of us.

11 concessions? I'm going to need to check the site rules, I thought that concessions weren't really a thing.
But mostly what PC said.

'if for any reason you are not enjoying the match you are playing then chat nicely to your opponent to see if you can adjust gameplay to make it enjoyable to both players and if not agree amicably to end the game.'
i appreciate what a nice idea this is, but most people (not me) who play bloodbowl couldn't care less if you have fun or not. i got diced heavily and the player continued fouling until he permed my players. while this shows repressed anger and maybe other faliures IRL, i can't blame him for it. it's part of the game.

"while this shows repressed anger and maybe other faliures IRL".
Or maybe the coach wanted a pitch clearance. Are there badges for those? Many coaches are not at all bothered about having their team cleared. Some will cheer you for it.
Some people care only about the result and nothing about team building. They don't really understand 'pixel huggers'.
Some people care only about fun and don't really care about the result or team building. Some people's fun is different from other people's fun.
Some people... and so on and so on and so on.

koadah i agree and often let myself get thrashed, it's part of the game. but on this thread, it seemed to me like the player asked for an explanation as to why the other coach behaved this way. i feel between my answer and yours he got a good idea :) that's all.

i would have a few badges but never cared for them for example, i'd rather have a win, even if i play stunties and wins are few and far between (also thanks to my poor skill level)
