Strange day; two games, two very different experiences.

First game was dorfs v zons which on paper favoured me massively. My shorties couldn't hurt a fly, resulting in a laughably bad performance and a painful 2-0 loss. Wasn't fun to play, but a well-spirited opponent and stepping back from events made it amusing to watch.

The second game was 9 active humans against 10 lizards with a much more experienced coach. I was expecting the 5 saurus and the kroxigor to tear me apart, as hinted at by an Apo'd RIP against a rookie lino in T1. But before the half was out I'd experienced my first concession as Nuffle favoured me to a stupid degree - skinks injuring themselves dodging combined with a foul-kill on the Kroxi (who failed Bone-Head twice in a row). Can't have been nice for my opponent to be on the other end luck like that though.

It's a funny old game.
