That hurt

We went in with a TV of 2300, and came out with a TV of 1410, But that didn't hurt, we expected that, and the team needed to drop down a bit in order to buy a few more rerolls.
We had 2 deaths to emerging stars, and one to a real star, But that didn't hurt, 2 of them were injured before the game, and you expect to have to replace a few elves after a match.
We had three other permanent injuries, But that didn't hurt, elves always need sombody to stand on the line and it feels good when a -ma player gets hammered and takes one for the team.
We lost, in overtime, and if the coin flip had been different, mybe we could have won, but that didn't hurt. Azure's boys were the favourite in the group, and with 40 CR points between us, a win was always unlikely.
What hurts is after 24 turns, and 90 minutes, the most enjoyable game of Blood Bowl I have ever played is over, and it might be a long time before a match that awesome comes along again. I guess it's a case of "don't cry because it's over, Smile because it happened". Cheers Azure for great game, and a great time, and best of luck in the final of the WoC Tzeentch qualifier and hopefully the Wheel of Chaos finals.

Epic game, and I always think of team decimation as a positive, because you can rebuild with that little bit of extra knowledge and experience you have picked up.....

It was all good right up until i heard Azure was the winner. :)
