What's in a name?
The 'Fang' part of my name came from a Palladium Role-Playing Game campaign that I was in ages and ages ago. My character, a Mind Mage, somehow acquired a large pure white wolverine as a familiar (can you smell the Munchkiness?) and I was asked to come up with a name. Not being particularly clever when it came to names I blurted out Fang!
Not particularly original or clever.
It did come in handy when I started to become more active online. Having to come up with a screen name I was thinking of a Monty Python reference when I remembered the Spanish Inquisition sketch and the character Cardinal Fang.
Fast forward a few years and I'd joined yet another forum and started chatting with some folk online. In case you haven't noticed grammar and spelling are note my strong suit. Combine that with my incredible lack of typing skill and you get some very interesting misspellings and typos when I'm trying to chat online. One of the regulars took to calling me Hamhands.
So knowing that one day I would run into someone else already using the name Cardinal Fang I started combining my old and my newly given name and became Fang Hamhands. So far I've yet to find someone else using it.

My main online handle (being my coachname) also comes from an old play char for D&D. I later found out, from my belgian name brother, that the name is also used in some book (I forgot which one).
