First Delve into Blackbox
Created my first Blackbox team, chaos dwarves, named Sometimes You Gotta Die. After a long weekend, I decided I didn't like that name and created a second chaos dwarf team, Bang Your Dwarf Slowly with all of the players named after types of drums. Now awaiting my first game ever. Having never played chaos dwarves in any type of BB, this will probably be a learning opportunity for me. Activated for the upcoming slate, apparently, didn't get picked. Will try again in a few minutes.
Got my first game against some Dwarfs. One Centaur seriously injured. One badly injured. Both in the first half. Couple of Hobgoblins knocked out or injured as well. Dwarf badly injured in second half as well. Finished the game with 6 players. Will probably retire this team and try again with a different race.
At least I only lost by 2. Of course, never got past the halfway line on offense. Baby steps.

I love that team theme. Seems like a tough first draw. Maybe the team name asked for it.
Youll have easier draws im sure. I activate a lot you see.

I'm going to keep the team active, but I doubt I'll get many matches with the low TV rating (as I understand the matching system.) If I don't get matches, I'll sadly have to retire the team. I really don't mind playing at a disadvantage, just want to make sure I get matches. I'm spending my afternoon creating teams and see what I have luck with.

You'll get a halfling or goblin game at that TV range provided they're activating. I'd activate your cdorfs every time just to ensure if the opponent is available, you'll get matched.

860TV (under 30 games) is easy. you may even snag a noob fling or gobbo team!

Update. After five matches I am 0/3/2 in box (should be 1/2/2, see blog entry on how stupid causes losses). Box is not at all what I thought it would be. I thought it was all going to be uber-coaches slaughtering me while taunting me about my mom going to college. It has actually been pretty awesome with awesome opponents. The interface for getting a match is better than ranked. So, all the newish coaches out there, take it from me, Create a team, join box, and have fun. Just don't expect to win, but I kiss my sister so I consider a tie a win at this point.
