Krumpin' yer own 'ead on da wall...
It is always hard to start something new. I have ALWAYS been a fan of Blood Bowl but never got around to playing it. I finally bought the box set and played a couple games against myself trying to get the hang of the rules. Then, I came along this site and was in awe. It only took me a day to figure it all out and finally played my first game: Undead vs. Orcs...and the krumpin commenced. The krumpin of da Orcs dat is.
I have been playing GW games since 1998 and was originally attracted to elves of all varieties. Then I found da Orcs/Orks. Ever since then I have been green. I have never looked back, so naturally I make myself an Orc team. :)
The rules got the best of me but it won't keep Da Broozas down!!!

Welcome to FUMBBL.
You've started in the right place by begining with academy. Keep trying to play there until you feel you have enough of a hang of the game to enter another division.
I have an academy team myself which is going to begin playing in january as part of my new years resolution to try and help out more here so look me up sometime for a game if you like :D
