Sleeper in Metropolis reaches 1000 losses.
The necros you love to hate are back in the news again. It took 2053 games, but Sleeper in Metropolis finally hit four digits in the loss column. Sleeper fell 2-1 against a group of wood elves that scored two quick touchdowns and then spent the rest of the match running for their lives. Thanks to the soft cuddly armor of the woodies, Sleeper ran their casualty differential to exactly +1100 after this match. Also of note, we killed a Treeman that had been named "fan favorite" from the 2 millionth match of Fumbbl. As big as he was, he fell hard and stayed dead (we would have loved a zombie). The top three races contributing to our "success" at racking up losses come in the following order: Orcs 156, Chaos 150, Dwarf 94. Sleeper looks forward to continued glory on the pitch taking on all challengers and serving up poison cherries to any would be pickers!

I guess that warrants a necro playbook to accompany Wreckage's general playbook. =)

Grants on the milestone... most epic necromantic team ever

No link! :(

Congratulations!

@Badoek: The team is too famous to need a link and neither does the game. They let rookie coaches like us do the footwork!

Oldest bb-team ever?

Sorry for the lack of a link, I'm simply not that strong as such things. I would say that I have better things to do, but 2000+ games with this team suggests otherwise.

For the record, yes, in terms of games played, they are the oldest team on FUMBBL, which certainly gives them a strong claim to likely being the oldest team ever, anywhere. Though when Brasky goes back to the WMDs, they may not be for long; he's only 25 games behind.

Those 2 are a long way ahead of everyone else though. 1487 is the closest in R (with 10 other teams over the 1k mark), and 729 in B. S has Kalamona's Hospital, who've played 862 games (more than double the next oldest), and in L, Faulcon's Slumbering Skink from the SWL lead with 371.

Sleeper in Metropolis, Clint Eastwood Roles and the Blood Sea Buccaneers were the teams I watched the most when I first found FUMBBL. Special place in my heart for all three of those squads.

One of my favourite games was PSA vs SiM!
