I wrapped up this team about a month ago but did not get a chance for photos until now. I knew that I wanted to use the metallic blue but had a hard time with a secondary color. In the end I decided to go with brown leather. The vampires are old fantasy dark elf Manflayers so the leather actually has faces in the cloaks. I know many of you will not like the sword hits and shields. However, to me the shields make sense in a blood bowl world. I would have removed the hilts if I were better at converting. However, as it stands, the hilts would also make sense as they would add weight to any punch that was thrown.

The thralls are empire spearmen with the spears snipped off. I thought having a stake on hand may be handy in case one of the vampires got too frisky.

Since posting this, I took a fresh look at the team. I think I will go back and hit a couple of details. For example, the broach on the most prominent vampire should probably be gold. It would bring a nice detail. The thralls also have some items dangling from their belts that I could pick up and it would add some nice touches. Finally, I need to find a crest for the shields. As my freehand sucks, I think it would be best if I found some transfers.
