The forces of [B]oreder
I've recently come to the conclusion that there is a problem that is far worse than the clawpomb spamming... activities of some coaches.
Lack of imagination.
I don't mind getting pummeled by chaos-things.
I don't mind when my only block TG gets sent back to the tombs (much).
What drives me nuts is the lack of chatter (and don't give me a "I'm on a netbook" excuse. Granted that is the case for many, but when you KNOW the other guy can chat, but doesn't...).
Lack of chatter, and an inability to play in the spirit of the game. By which I mean:
FLUFF IT UP!
Crap names like 'dot' or 'dash'. Things that aren't even actually names. If you can't even bother with a capital, go play some other mindless crap game that doesn't have a wealth of background and fluff surrounding it. You aren't playing bloodbowl, you're playing the numbers.
Give me a beating by the WMD's or something anyday. Bill at least attempts to make it an entertaining affair. Hell, even pythrr is kinda fun (sometimes).
tl;dr - clawpomb is bad; antisocial, fluff-averse coaches are worse.

Maybe it is you? Your last opponent chatted all game when I played him. I found him very social, and pleasant. We are now facebook friends and everything. Weird, that you are having this problem and no one else is. Can you read the sarcasm i just displayed there? :P

@Dan-da-Man: Haven't completely given up, no. Not enjoying the experience thus far, but I think luck has had a bit to do with things there. At present my Khemri are a handful of games from their 100, so I'm focusing on them. Not to mention, I'm supremely tempted to make some flings...

I just start typing about goat porn or something equally ridiculous, with lots of prompts for their input on the subject.
If they're not gonna chat, I'm at least gonna get a good laugh out of their complete silence and give the fans some giggles.

Beerox: just make sure to check for PMs at some point while doing that. I've had a few times that I've been chatting away with no response, making my usual comments in response to the game by myself, and when I go back to the main site afterwards I have a PM from the player apologizing in advance for him not being able to chat, and sometimes responding to stuff I was saying during the game! So be sure your opponent is actually being antisocial and is not making the effort before you start trolling.
