With just 1 reroll, prepare to lose the next couple of games as well. At the very least you need 3 rerolls to start with.

I'd recommend playing some games in [A]cademy. There are some good, patient, experienced players who sometimes play there to help new people out.
If you are set on learning my doing and playing [R]anked, play a few games with that human team until you drive them into the ground, then make a new team (even another human team) and built it based on what you've learned (i.e. start with more rerolls and higher fan factor, save the ogre for later).

There are 4 "sticky" threads that stay at the top of the Tactics and Strategy Forum. Read them. They are the unofficial "how to play Blood Bowl and not suck" guide to the site. With just an 0-2 loss you have not experienced embarassment yet believe me.
Don't get down if you lose alot. All of us got beat down regularly when we started here. Most of the best coaches in the world play here and those of use like me that are just average have experience against some of the best.

What was embarassing was not the final outcoming, but some movements i made that were really really close to being stupid.

RR are good, but dont put too much into not having so many (although as human player i would have prefered 2).
FF is really important as it is a big factor in getting money to replace you players.
Without rr you have to play better, by this i especially mean, you have to consider what you NEED to do, what you WANT to do and what you COULD do if nothing else went wrong.
Furthermore, with only 1 rr, you HAVE to make it count, so consider well where you are in the NEED, WANT and COULD, and if it would DECREASE/INCREASE your fieldpositioning using or not using the RR.
I myself play wood elves without any RR (gives me easier opponents, who usually waste their RR, just becourse they have them), and it has helped me look into the importance of what to do first and what to do only if nothing else fails.
And its actually fun. BUT Woodies can do a lot more dodgeing and picking up the ball without rr, so it is not THAT bad for me. Humans i wouldnt want to be caught without rr and i would use the throwers/catchers/blitzers much more, and only look to linemen in dire need.
