WIL Season 7: The Cas Race
The season has just kicked off, and Chewie and Xenon are already in hot competition with each other in the Dragon Conference. With both teams churning out 2-1 victories, this might not seem so unusual, but already both of the killing machines seem to be in full flow, with Chewie even effectively annihilating fellow stable mate Cribbleobblepie with a mighty four permanent injuries, with two niggles and two "very" permanent injuries. Xenon however, was not outdone, at least in the number of casualties, but his softer side was penetrating his players' mentalities, as whilst matching the six casualties from Chewies game, there were no permanent injuries.

Salacius Crumb already looks in fine form, inflicting two casualties, but the real star of the day was Obi-Wan-Kenobi, for his outstanding three casualties! The blood was more thinly spread in Xenons game, as only Red Sonja managed to knock up more than a solitary casualty.

Even with all the bashing however, there were still slim rays of beauty shining through, with a magnificent 4-0 victory for Wotfudboy over rikswales rather depleted high elves, showing how the power of lingerie is very real indeed, especially in terms of scoring (sorry, that was weak...). Ludovicious also managed a 2-0 win, although the game was tarred for both coaches with a death a piece.

Unfortunately, spubbbba's league campaign got off to a shaky start after a 1-1 draw, and his chances have been severely hampered after a death and two serious injuries, one of which looks permanent.

A newcomer, spiggle, got off to a comendable start, with a hard-fought 1-1 draw, when 48 team strength points down against roddersrodders, in a relatively bloodless game. Looking on the bright side, he did foul twice, thereby showing how he is already getting into the spirit of the league! Sadly, the fans have not repaid his eagerness yet, and the winnings were poor for both sides.

Pacs goblins got off to the nightmare start of this season, and after having been obliterated (by accident) by some over enthusiastic Mancunians in the pre-season friendly, they were again mauled, suffering four deaths in their 2-0 defeat against Naggy's Nightmares. Ooooh that's gotta hurt...

In an all new clash, Tesifonte beat Robbo44 2-1. Although neither coach has yet to buy into the foul happy image that the league has to maintain, coach Robbo44 spent 50k well on an apothecary, which promptly rescued his ogre when he was killed whilst trying to pick his nose with an appetising orc.
