I am not good at this game.
There's something about the play that eludes me. I often find myself at the wrong end of both the TD difference and the Casualty difference. So if I'm not scoring on offense and I'm not punishing the opposing team, then what the hell am I doing?
1. I don't foul. Ever. Why? I don't know. Maybe I'm just a good sport, but I don't feel the need to potentially annihilate another person's favorite player. This goes out the window as soon as someone starts fouling me, but I inevitably get caught by the Ref on my retaliatory strike. Go figure.
2. Kickoff Placement. I'm usually clueless here. Depending on the race of the team, I'll align my O-line and flanks accordingly and then drop two back to receive. This usually goes horribly wrong somehow (I often fail to pick up the ball and cause a turnover).
3. Blocking Priority. I understand the concept of throwing your most important blocks first. I also understand the concept of trying to get as many assists as humanly (or gobliny) possible. However, I often find myself at the wrong end of a massive block pileup. Perhaps it's because I seem to *only* find games against smashmouth teams.
I am not good at this game, but somehow, I still love it.
