Mega Old Maniacs go back to sleep
It was a short run but it was fun ! It started with one of the stupidiest game i've ever play. Then we suffered PAIN from the hand (or more exactly the chainsaw) of Nobbla. At this point it was pretty clear that our greatest enemies were gobelins.
But we were wrong. See there is something called "chaos" and "clawpomb" down there in the box and well... let's face it : it hurts. Especialy when no regen work in the entire game and your newly 4str thro-ra dies on a failed gfi ^^
So BEWARE fellow box of this new thing called clawpomb, it's really imba, ruin the game, ruin the fun, etc !

Nah just kidding ! :D This was a one sided bloodbath and there were actually 4 clever player down there : 2 TG, 1 beastman and 1 CW that stayed in the KO box as soon as they got there ! Even if it wasnt as epic as their debut, this was a fitting end for those Khemries. And the funny thing with that kind of old bones is they can comeback fresh like the young sun and angry like a sandstorm !

Not really, MattDakka. He only has 2 viable TGs, and enough money to buy a 3rd. He could keep the -ma/-av TG until he saves up to buy a 4th but it probably won't live that long. Khemri need the TGs, they can run with J-men skellies, but less than 4 TGs for any length of time is just going to see the team spinning its wheels. In Ranked this team could have been rebuilt, but not in Blackbox. And the more games he playes, the more chance he has of running into a really bad matchup (sub 500 Box score).

Well it could have been tried, that's for sure but i dont really like rebuilding ^^ And i prefer low tv games anyway so ...

I played games with 3 Tomb Guardians, it's harder, sure, but the TV would have been lower and he would have played probably an easier match than the usual high TV clawpomb galore.
I would have retired if I had no Guardians or just 2, but 3 is a still decent number to play 1-2 recover matches.

Ok, I concede the point about 3 TGs, but there is no such thing as a 'recovery' game in Blackbox. The more you play, the higher the TV difference goes. Even if his team stays at a low TV, he's not guaranteed to be matched against a similar TV team. And if he is, it could be some min-maxed Clawpombing monstrosity that preys on new people and rebuilding teams. So it still ends up being a vicious cycle.

His team has less than 30 games so still in the protected range, moreover, by simply activating more than 1 team you reduce the risk of a huge TV mismatch.
At the TV the team was and with so few games played the chance of facing another clawpomb team was quite slim.
He could have tried (I get he didn't want nor I was trying to persuade him, I pointed out he could have rebuilt just for academic discussion), in the worst scenario he could have retired the team and just wasted a bit of time.

As I said i didnt retired the team because I thaught it couldnt be rebuild. I just didnt wanted to cause i dont really like it. And thoses days I find that the bloodbowl I really enjoy is league or tournament Bloodbowl. Box and ranked are test / funny side things.
As i had a lot of fun with that test i offered them an epitath, nothing more :)

I have rebuilt Ogres before when they went down to 2 Ogres. Now that is tough. But glad you had fun with the Khemri Patator!
