High Elf Painting Blog
Got some pictures of my High Elf team, been getting them ready for my local tabletop league, I haven't finished final details such as eyes and numbers etc as i'm pretty rubbish at painting lol but I hope people enjoy what I have so far

So here is my table top team

1st up here are my Lion Warriors

Dragon Warriors

Phoenix Warrior

And the unsung hero's of any team, the linemen

sorry if some of the pictures are a bit dark

cool work but imo they deffently need the eyes painting. especially on the catchers. they look allmost zombie like without them

Thats a great job... the colour scheme is an excellent choice. Agree re the eyes... and you need some wash on the face.

I recommend a Sepia wash, some fine dry brushing of the cheeks after that with the flesh colour with a dash of white.

Then do the eyes by painting the eye socket black and doing two white dots on either side of the socket. Much more realistic than doing a white socket with a single black dot.

Agrre on the eye thing. It is a bit dangerous to have your eyes closed on the BB pitch. Balls or Gobbos can come flying, better to keep em eyes open.

To make the eye, i usually make a black spot, then a white spot (leaving just a tiny black line) and then adding a black or blue spot in the middle (just large enough to cover all white in the middle of the eye, so eyes dont get too starry.)

Not that hard, but i also use few hair brushes for the finer spots.

Mostly nice done. Would consider some shades for the armour to make it look less unfinished though.
