Today i have a game with my rookie skaven vs some lizardmen, it was a good match (i had 1 runner most the game and only 2 rerolls). But at the very end i had the choice of running with my GR with one GFI to score, or hand off and two GFI's with a linerat to score and skill up. I chose the linerat (and yes with no rerolls it's fairly risky vs using the runner) he failed on his first GFI but i don't regret the choice. If the games a draw and i can risk a win by skilling up anyone on my team i'll take that risk.

Sure a draw wont be as great especially for FF gains but having a decent foundation on a team is essential for future success
