Hey All!

I am still fairly new to the game. I am looking for any advice or tips on how to build my dwarfs.

Guard and MB on everyone. Block and tackle on your runners, dodge on doubles.

Don't take the negative comments from your opponents to heart.

Deathroller is fun but overall terrible.

As you're in the Box, I'd think about putting fend on a few blockers aswell. People will tell you it's not worth it, but I think dorfs is one of the few teams that benefit from it. Especially as Blockers don't have that many other choices after guard and MB...

Also, don;t get attached to the Roller. He's fun but will cost you in the long run.

Fend is an essential skill in the box if you are going to live at higher TV....it's important on any team imo and even more so on slow dorfs. Good luck with them, there's some successfull dorf teams in the box, but not many :)

I find the best thing to do with dorf teams in the box is to retire them and start a chaos or nurgle team.

if thats not what you want to here as a chaos and nurgle coach the thing that annoys me most about playing dorfs is facing a lot of guard and fend especially when the dorf coach isn't frightened of getting stuck in. as it makes getting 2 dice blocks for your clawpombers very hard and you start losing support players as the dorf keeps thumping them with 2 dice blocks. dodge is also a pain but i'm not sure worth the double i'd probably spam guard fend and get some mightyblow players and you're good to go

Fire the Deathroller at the earliest opportunity.

Read the playbook on Plasmoids Site (address posted by niebling)

Master the 2-1 grind and enjoy your team before they all get clawpombed at 1500tv

Thank you all for your help.

I might get rid of the Deathroller, later on, but right now I am enjoying playing with it lol.

I have learned Guard is amazing on Dwarfs, I was probably going to get it on all my guys. It does seem like a pretty straight forward team to build.

How many guys would I want total on my team? Would 12 be a good number, or should I shoot for more?

Including the Deathroller 12 is kind of a must. Normal team 11 with apoth is fine.

basically the higher Tv you get the deeper the bench you need.
you will work it out based on experience really. just start investing in a bench when you feel you need one.

Also, don't expect to stomp many stunties. They're not played that much in [B].

Can't believe it has taken me this long to comment...

Advice for dorfs:

1. Shave.

2. Die.

3. Rot.

Awesome thing is the last step pretty much takes care of itself! B)
