The Sweltering heat is unexpected... :)
Good to know.

how about when you are 0-0, 3 turns in, and have yet to take a cas?

i played BB for years before finding fumbbl. no matter what was happening 'in-game' we never quit. we just laughed together at the game and the dice. sure it can get crazy infuriating some times, even more often than not. but still i dont like the look of these new quit if you must rules. i say play on.
thanks to Sergei for the info~ i hadent looked in years...

Never concede for in-game reasons! It surprises me every time I read these guidelines.

Never quit....Simple.
I havent quit for months, and no matter how badly nuffle shafts me, I will never again quit. Recovering is so much easier in CRP anyway, I personally think the concession rules should be a lot tighter.

In some matchups receiving, losing the ball, and suffering a turn 7 or 8 countertouchdown would amount to an 'insurmountable td difference' imho, but that does NOT qualify by the site standards (or so I've been told).

What happened to playing the game you love and try your best to win?
Bunch of quitters...

i see nothing that justifies a concession if you ask me. in-game reasons for conceding are lame. always.

"In some matchups receiving, losing the ball, and suffering a turn 7 or 8 countertouchdown would amount to an 'insurmountable td difference' imho"
You are confusing not being able to win/draw and nothing left to play for. Losing isn't an acceptable reason.
Personally, I think it is very hard to judge whether you are ok to concede or not with that part of the rule. I would advise you guys to stay clear of it. I generally only view it for noobs getting spanked in match ups they shouldn't have taken.
Sweltering heat would I guess add on to 'lack of numbers' ruling.
Generally though with concessions, you should hardly ever be in a position of needing to concede, it's more of a 'bail out' clause if desperately needed.

I see alot of "no in game event should allow a concession" comment, and yet its the total opposite. You arent allowed to concede due to IRL issues, i once got into a not to friendly discussion about that in the mainchat

IRL issues are IRL issues.
This is only a game. If they want to ban you for that you can play a different game.

Just drop if you got a RL issue... it is not like you got 3 to 7 days to finish it (depending on the division)... oh wait...
