Match #1: Ragnarok-n-Roll vs. Brutoz Pizoteadorez Orcoz - Loss 1-0

The Rangarok-n-Rollers came into their first Blackbox match against Brutoz Pizoteadorez Orcoz with all the spirit they could muster - fresh off the longboat, full of ale, and ready to kick someone's teeth down their throat.

Yeah, well, that didn't happen. Not even close.

The Norsemen spent most of the match getting beaten from pillar to post by a pack of severely pissed-off orcs, with the only consolations in the loss being that a) the score wasn't much higher than it actually ended up, and b) none of the Norsemen's injuries were long-term ones.

The RnR'ers didn't look like a Blood Bowl team tonight (unless, of course, you're counting Snotlings... then they looked a LOT like a Blood Bowl team). They just looked like a bunch of beat-up guys with beards and horned helmets who really need to learn what the hell they're doing out there before someone pulls their spines out.

Not a single SPP was earned by the Norsemen tonight during the course of the match. No injuries, no scores, not even a measly completed pass. Rand, the Shieldbearer received the MVP of the match if only for his comic relief of tripping three times while dodging before finally (mercifully) knocking himself out for good.
