This has probably been covered before, but after a while away from Fumbbl I have returned - hopefully a better player and a better person, but that's another blog.
Anyway, I have noticed a growing trend while sat happily on gamefinder waiting for a suitable game. I send several messages to people I think are an ok matchup for my teams, most of the time they reply and everyone's happy.
But of late there seems to be an increasing trend of people just ignoring messages. Now everyone gets matchups that are, shall we say, slightly fairer for the other team. It's part of ranked, nothing to get worried over. All you do, is just say 'no thanks' and life goes on. Whenever I get a game where I think my team may suffer unduly, or I have played the same race in my last game, or I just don't fancy taking on a CR 180+ coach I just say 'no thanks'.
It costs nothing and takes just two seconds of your time. It really annoys me though when people sit there for 30 minutes with your message and don't say a word. Or disappear for another game without just saying - 'sorry, got a game' - it's not that hard is it people!? And don't even get me started on the simple 'no' people.
Hmm, maybe I'm just getting old...
