Have a read through the help section all your questions should be answered there.

FYI make a team in the Ranked or Blackbox division.

Blackbox is arguably easier to get games though a little more bash orientated while ranked you can pick your opponents.

Oh, don't play against a guy called Jan-Erik until you've played about 500 games. He picks on new coaches specifically.

bblfg doesn't work in IRC any more...

For your Stunty team, go to the gamefinder to ... well, to find games. There you can pick who to play. Or you can use IRC and look for games in main or in the #fumbblstunty channel.

For your League team, I recommend joining the 145 Club, aimed at rookies: http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&group=2922&p=members
Probably best to start by also joining the Rookie League too with them: http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&group=3180&p=members
A season just started, you should be able to get games easily by PM, posting in the forum thread, or in IRC, in the #fumbblacademy channel.

I suggest you make a league team, and join Kodah's 145 club.

It is a helpful place for new coaches to learn without being preyed upon in the ranked division.

Once you have learned the tricks of the trade, make a killer team & join the Blackbox!
