press release from Aarnau Marauders
So its official Barboza marauders has like so many other teams changed leadership and is now owned by Jakob Rosenkilde Aka filthy1. We met with the new owner, and here is what we got from him so far.

Many people were surprised to learn that Barboza marauders was in for a change of ownership. How did this come about?

It has been a life-long dream to own a blood bowl team in the prestigious DLE tournament, so when the opportunity presented itself, I made them an offer they couldn’t refuse, there is nothing I cant´ buy.

You have decided to move you team to a different city and the marauders will now be located near the FBC, (Filthys broadcasting coporation) do you care to comment on the move

The marauders very never fully appreciated in Barboza, the media hated them, the stadium was half full and the fried lizards they serve are awful. Aarnau deserves a world class team, they have a more professional media coverage the food and beer is excellent and on a personal note Aarnau, is where I inherited my fist billion dollar company, stole my first car and bought my first woman. I owe a lot to the community there.

Many people would claim that you have insufficient knowledge of the basics of the game, and are close to incompetent as a blood bowl manager.

Some people claim that the earth is flat, I don’t care about other facts than what I can see. I am the owner and that is the truth of it.

You didn’t answer the question; do you believe that you possess the needed skills and aptitude for trade to bring success to the Marauders?

In my prior, experience as a coach of very successful blood bowl teams I have fought and bested the best of teams. We won our latest test game against badpublicity and I believe that success like that speaks for itself, do your homework.

A single match hardly constitutes a winning streak, and some would claim that the ref and Nuffel itself was disposed in favor of you team in that match, how do you account for not scoring in 7 NAF matches in a row if you are so successful.

Like I always say there is nothing money can´t buy, today I own a team, tomorrow I own a ref. enough of this do you have any real questions. By the way nuffel is a man not an it, I speak to him frequently

The marauders has had a stream of bad luck and critics of the team claim that the players especially the throwers are failing to meet the high standards of DLE players. How do you react to such accusations?

The players know im the leader and that I mean business. We have already made several changes to the team and bought new equipment at a steal from some goblins, im glad to announce that Brad Johnson has taking kindly to the new changes and as a result he has been hitting the gym hard. He looks like a different player to me and his shining example has earned him a starting role in our next match.

What are the strengths of the Marauders?

ME.

Ja, pissegod første blog, vi glæder os til at læse flere af dem. Og godt at høre at du fik slået Badpublicity, det har han også bare godt af :-)

Going forwards, I wish you the best of luck with the new team. They've had a tough time so far, but their is potential in them for sure. See you on the field.
