Personal Venting Time Out
Okay. Fouling, Stalling, Cherry-picking, Crowd-pushing, who cares. Know thy enemy.

My personal gripe is not aimed at the admins (they're awesome in my book), but rather at opponents who willingly break the rules, knowing that they will only get a slap on the wrists for their actions.

Case 1:

Opponent and I were dumped during the recent site down time for maintenance. Neither of us knew about it at the time. I followed the S.O.P. for dropped games, as listed in the FUMBBL rules page. A few days later, I find out that my opponent had continued playing on. Result = his team retired. Whoop-dee-doo. The only thing that upset me was the good amount of SPP's I had earned so far in the game (Especially the INT made by my zombie). Oh well, chalk it up as a learning experience.

Case 2:

Next opponent declares, during my turn that he will conceed on his turn. Do I stop playing, no. Why give up the chance to get another CAS or COMP. What happens next? He drops. I followed S.O.P. for site, again. What happens? 1.5 weeks later, I find he's retired the team. Result = I don't know yet. Let me look into my magic eight ball.

Wait for it....Wait for it.....Wait for it....You're screwed. Figures.

I feel like the man who had a million dollars stolen from me and then when the criminal was caught, the cops let him go, simply because he didn't have the money anymore.

Anyway, that's my $0.015 (taxes, you know).
