Game of Thrones
Wow, what a series!
I knew i would get addicted, but this really was instant addiction. with in no-time i was sucking up all the episodes i could lay my virtual hands on.

The intrigueing story line along with all the great characters, amazing!

What i like most are the variety of noble houses and their different urges for power.

House Stark, brave and cold northmen still praying to the old gods - but destiny twisted them into the "Game of Thrones"

There also is House Targaryen the "old" lineage of the Dragonkings cast away in exile after doom had found them.

House Lannister, they are proud, malicous and maybe the most intrigueing of all houses.
I could identify best with them, maybe because im a Leo and their Sigil is a Lion, but i also love their wicked games!

I will start building a Series of Teams representing the Houses.

Starting with the STARKs

Series is B+ compared to the books :)
So if you like the TV series, do pick up the books it is really worth it

I want to watch it, but I remember the emotional roller coast the books sent me on. I'm not sure I could handle it in live action format. I did love the books though.

As so many others, I've read the books. The series don't make them justice.

Don't let anyone spoilt the ending (of season 1) for you, and stop reading these comments. Keep on watching the show.

Dexter's the only series I know the books aren't as good (well first one anyway).

I've only seen the first episode so far but if the series is going to end where I expect it to you're going to be really reeling :) [of course that might come earlier.. I was disappointed to see the bit at the end of E1 handled that way].

My main reason for posting is to say how utterly inappropriate it is to make Eddard Stark a Berserker!

They have done a wonderful job of it. The books are better of course but also very complicated and fragmented so I'm in awe that they have managed to make a tv-series at all let alone a good one.

The only thing I have a little trouble with is the Dothraki horde consisting of about 10 people.

Yeah i also got the complete "Song of Ice and Fire" on Amazon for 18 euro including shipping. Its really worthy the money, get it if u are into reading !!! - Many more details of course, which could only be scratched in the TV series! And even im watching the series - i know i dont wanna stop the saga after "Game of Thrones" is done.
