Robocoyote's Gentlemen's Club Tilea team needs a logo, the guideline was "classy and elitist". Since Stanley asked how I create my logos, I guessed a guide for everyone would be nice. I use GIMP and paint.net, the latter being the easier one to work with so I used it for my guide.


We aren't artists and quite hungover from yesterday so we first search for a nice template we can use. Before we edit anything we enlarge the image to twice its sice so we can edit it easier.


We use the wand tool to select all the dark area around the picture and remove it, this area will now be transparent on the pitch.


We continue the outlines with the line tool and delete the hockey sticks like we did the black area. This is Blood Bowl and not some sissy sport with sticks.


The image should look like this now.


We fill the spaces between the lines with the fill tool, we also fill all the gray area once (the percentage you have to use varies) to make the edges less sharp and to overpaint some of the black remnants from the cut out area.


We correct little stuff with the brush and the eraser tools.


We found a nice template for the font so we cut and paste it into the logo.


We wand-cut the white space, we like transparencies.


We select the area for the logo, copy it and paste it into a new image that should automatically have the right size.


We resize the image so it fits on the pitch, i like 275 pixels for the hight.


We have a logo! I hope Robo likes it, if not it at least served for the guide.
