Hey FUMBBL
There's a bugs team on the site now, and I'm the head of it.
Under
Help -> Bugs up top, there is the most excellent
bugs page. I fondly know it as /p/bugs.
It's had a very nice redo by Christer, and the goal is to get understood and replicated bugs cleanly formatted on that, and then
Accepted off to the coding team at a reasonable pace, so they can get to work on them without spending too much their time trying to figure out what's going on in the first place, or if it's even a real bug, right?
Coders get more time coding, we get more goodies out of that. Everyone's happy.
Likewise, when they think they've got stuff fixed, we aim to do a super quick check on that and make sure that hasn't broken anything new, and let them know if it has.
So, if you spot something amiss with things that are in the client, or active on the website, I mean, can't hurt to look it up first if you need the confidence boost, but, get on and hit the big green
Report Bug button, and let us know. Detail is great if you recall, link to a match it happened in (and the half and turn that it happened), or link a page that's gone wrong, and everything you remember doing click-wise that lead up to it.
Feel free to comment on
New Bugs, or those
Needing Info, give us more examples, or some clues, always welcome.
If something has popped up wrong with one's in
Retesting? Create a new bug and we'll get onto that too.
And if replicating client bugs sounds like a bit of fun, puzzling out how to make that wrong thing happen in test mode, or even figuring out what the rules should be, give me a yell, reply here or PM, find me on the discord, and I'll get you some access to tidying these things up and moving the process along.
Cheers, all.
