there are some topics on this. and some really good ones.
i alos like the skill choice topics, but maybe they should just have a topic on their own like
topic /tactics ans strategies
topic /skills

"Noone wants to know if you just got your 6th skillchoice"
Hey, that me! I got onto a blog post! yay!
I like skill choice threads, so long as they're not the "My rookie chaos warrior just rolled 6+6, should I take claw or +STR?" that shows up far too often. I thought my question was reasonable.
I would love to have specific team strategies up on the forums...hey, maybe I'll do that for Lizardmen.

no one wants to know that you think no one wants to know about 6th skill choices.

You should just go and start those threads =)

I've read the rules and, back when I played the boardgame, thought I knew about choosing skill. When I came to this place, I learned that I did not. I'll keep starting those "Which skill to take for my lineelf" threads until I can answer those questions myself. But I really would enjoy reading some other, more advanced threads, although I could not contribute to them yet.

I find it a bit insolent when a rookie coach, who has not even played 50 games, tells us what everyone else wants to know or not.
Apart from that, you're dead wrong with your assumptions, people obviously cared enough to discuss the choice for days, and it was far from trivial anyway.
What actually noone is interested in:
People with a wagging finger who have no clue what they are talking about.
Sorry for my harsh words, but this blog entry really asked for them.

But is that not the point of both forum discussions and blog entries?
Stating your opinion on a subject and trying either to cover the academic basics or move peoples assumptions?
Well if we're into harsh words and pointing extremeties at each other: I'd wager that anyone interested in a skillchoice thread no matter their number of games is still a rookie coach...

"I'd wager that anyone interested in a skillchoice thread no matter their number of games is still a rookie coach..."
A statement, which, in my humble opinion, proves once more, that you have no idea what you are talking about.
Again: 6th skill choice for that saurus has been far from trivial and highly interesting on top of that.

Frankenstein has a point here.
And something else: No harsh words would have been necessary to discuss this. Calm down everyone, there is absolutely no need to point whatever at each other.

Yeah no need to be harsh. And on topic: Why do we have to choose betweem skill-threads and tactic-threads? I like them both, and the forums should be big enough to cover both.

"I'd wager that anyone interested in a skillchoice thread no matter their number of games is still a rookie coach..."
Hey! That describes me perfectly! :)
