A few months ago I lost my job. I was interested in going back to school to become an electrical engineer, but the lack of money didn't really allow for it.
Prior to losing my job(for no evident reason), I was self-educating myself in Java for work-related projects. I picked it up pretty quick, so quick, that 3 months after losing my job, I am releasing my first game to the Android mobile market. I've learned that it's quite amazing what one can accomplish in 12 weeks with 12+ hours/day invested in a project. All of the graphics I had to create on my own(besides fonts, which were supplied for free from someone I met online), and I am also kind of a musician(I play a handful of instruments) and am looking forward to implementing my own soundtrack.
I'm partially certified Java now, need to finish my certification, hoping this would help on my resume because most jobs I've seen posted look for years of experience.
But anyway, if there's anyone who wants to take a swing at it, the game is free to play, and all comments/suggestions/reviews would be appreciated as I don't have much of a 'test group.'
