“The third match of the autumn season saw the Pride of Lybaras face of against a Night Goblin team known as readpeaks's Delusionals. The goblin team was known for using some sportsmanship tactics, like performance enhancers and weapons! Pride received some inducement money, which was used to hire the Star Player Setekh. The brutal way that Setekh is known for pushing his way through opposing players was deemed useful against the nimble goblins. (Setekh didn't perform a single dodge in the game)
Despite the weapons of the cheating goblins, and the mechanical marvels of Thelekhter, the game was rather unbloody. The goblins managed to injure both Emotmonb and Abikar, but both regenerated from the injuries. Throughout the game, both brave members of the Lybaras team showed their best. Abikar especially was often right on point with his bombs, opening up ways for his teammates to run through. The ref also seemed to enjoy the carnage of the weapons, and the few times the breaking of the rules was too much to turn a blind eye to, the ref was content enough to only send the offending players to the digout, instead of banning them. This lasted all the way to the end, until finally the ref got enough of Thelekhters whining and complaining, and banned both the player and the coach himself!
Thanks to Lasgalen for the match, nice banter throughout the game, which I enjoyed a lot. Even the crowd seemed to get a laugh, when I made a fool of myself, and didn't catch Lasgalen's joke after the ban. Good luck with your team!”
