“Game started off completely dominated by the amazons. They had 4 cas before I broke their armor a single time, and despite stealing the ball I was hunted down and POW'd to the ground, the ball going back the amazon way for an early 1-0 score. Along the way he just bashed through me at will, killing my uber-SV (amazingly the apo worked for a change), who was ko'd the next turn, never to return the rest of the game. Botched my OTS chainpush attempt, though I did manage to take out one of his SF/MB blitzers. For that boot, our DP was named game MVP.

Second half we very nearly give the game up for good, as our thrower botches the pickup right next to the LOS. Amazons recover, and are surrounding their ball-girl quite well, but not well enough to keep it safe from our uber-gutter Sabre, who jars it loose. A mad scramble ensues, with much chainpushing on both sides, until eventually the ball pops outside of the pack and my gutters are able to employ their speed to recover and score, 1-1.

Next kickoff, blitz! He recovers, but again Sabre wins the day, jarring the ball loose for our gutters to score once more.

He has 3 turns to try to equalize, but Sabre (do we notice a trend here?) wins the ball free, and it's all over.

Excellent game, where the cas dice favored the ladies at first, then the rats later. Much strategy involved, and would be most willing to face him again!”
