“This was a breath of fresh air after yesterday's 3-game mauling. All 6 players turned up, and though I really wasn't expecting them to do much, they had a great game.
SergeiBautin wasn't even going soft on me, but there was not much he could do against a quick snap, a 6 on a dodge out of diving tackle and a lucky 1-dice blitz - all of which led to TDs for me. Of course, I was never really in with a chance of winning, but as recovery games go, it couldn't have been better. No injuries, and finally some cash!
Interestingly, we managed to roll all our 1s in a row towards the end, allowing an AG6 player quick-passing to an AG5 player to fumble 4 times, a tree to fail it's take root and a catcher to fail 2 gfi rolls... all in 2 turns!
