Potbound Rosebush was a true team player. He covered wherever necessary, either as catcher, passer, or simply by running interference. He always played in the shadow of Constantdrip Brokengutter, but shone in his own way nonetheless.
Unfortunately, his on-field career was cut short by two niggling injuries in three games and these, together with his other niggler and his -1AV left him in no fit state to continue. His final match saw him earn the MVP and brought him to a total of 175 SPPs - one short of becoming a legend. The team wanted him to see out his recovery and would have kept him on the roster until he could make one more appearance, throw a final pass, and retire in the knowledge that he had become one of Tangleweed's legends.
But Potbound had other ideas. He knew what a drain he was being on the team and without letting any of the other players know, he offered his services to the coaching staff. Needless to say, they accepted the offer at once, so Potbound Rosebush will remain part of the team he worked so hard to make famous.
He will now be known as Potbound Rosebush, Legend -1!
