“Game started all rats, completely stalling the elves thanks to timely POW by us and lots of skulls by him. My RO even caught a bouncing ball in mid-air, surrounded by players from both sides, and after much creative chainpushing he blitzed his way to the endzone, killing an elf along the way (apo save) to end the half 1-0.

Second half things looked good to go up 2-0, but then our RO decided he needed a break from the excitement of the first half, and instead of blitzing our SV clear for the score just stood there, allowing the elves to steal the ball, MNG'ng a rat in the process, and tie the score. Then the heat and lots of ratty cas took their toll, as our 6 rats were not able to stop the elves from stealing the ball again, twice. By the end of the match, we had only 3 rats left standing...but when one is a blodge/claw RO, he was ALMOST enough! Been a while since he's had that productive a game...

...of course, been a while since he's even played! Last six games he's niggled out three times, been arrested, and suffered Morley's twice. Gambled on the apo to bring him in this game, and he repaid my kindness by not getting dead and keeping the game close til the end.”
