“A match played in game long sweltering heat turned out to be a non contest from the kickoff - a thrown rock from the orc fans killed a Chaos Warrior!
What followed after that was hard, brutal, and completely one sided. The Chaos failed, I succeeded in everything for the 1st half till turn 8, when I failed two blocks.
The first rerolled (I'd not touched a reroll all half) the 2nd resulted in block/pow doubles. End of turn.
End of another beastman :S
The scoreline flatters me when my opponent fails everything, can't even score a KO, and my hits usually stun or remove a player somehow from the field.
I had the worst of the sun - my guys were sat about knowing that whatever they did, more Chaos would die, even if they did nothing. And so it was. Late on in the game, another death, for 4 total, 3 from blocks or failed blocks.
This sort of thing usually happens to me, though not usually this drastic (though 3 players dead have been common :S).
All I can offer is my apology to Steelgray and admiration for his non-whine attitude, sitting through a game where I kill his team off through normal blocks and throw the ball like elves. I've sat through enough of these games (2 games ago was a prime example with my Dwarves butchered by the dice and some Khemri who were passing).
Better luck with the next team Steelgray - it doesn't get any worse than this.
Cheers for being a good sport about it!”
