“FUMBBL SMACK Pro LXIX
------------------------------------
A first round loss that left me shaking my head in disbelief. I was fairly lucky in this match, but it mattered little when meeting peikko the one hit wonder. 15 successful one dice blocks and only 1 failed says a bit about what happened in the match. Several runs towards the end zone was stopped by one man blitzers.
As if it wasn't enough I helped him by being clumpsy as well. At 1-1 in my 15th turn I had a good chance of throwing some blocks and running the ball in, but instead I slip on my black orc blocker and they never ever make dodge rolls. It's about the second time ever this has happened to me, and I hope it never happens in a tournament again.
As the cherry on the cake the ball was pushed over the side line in overtime and thrown in at the feet of one of peikko's hobgoblins, who could run behind the safety wall of the dwarven LOS and then onwards to a TD, while my orcs were stuck on his half wondering what happened to their match winning offensive.
I do appreciate a lot that very few fouls were made and that peikko's incredible success with blocks didn't pay off in scores of serious injuries. Good luck in the tournament, and make sure to give those pesky wood elves in the next round a real bashing! ;)”
