Having read the match report for Dirty Sixteen's last game, it certainly looked like Nuffle was still giving. They completely dominated the first half, scoring early on and then recovering a fumble to nearly make it 2-0.

And then the second half started, and the casualties just started coming. And coming, and coming, and coming. As if that weren't enough, in addition to the beating inflicted by Oswald, Sixteen also managed several self-inflicted casualties.

Despite only having 7 players on the field, things were looking up for Sixteen when they won the toss and received in overtime. Unfortunately, Oswald blitzed an onside kick and recovered the ball. From there it was a slow crawl and stall until the Sixteen coach pointed out that overtime in this league was sudden death. With an apologetic 'oops', the Oswald players made their way to the endzone, making a token foul along the way.
