XFL Round 1:

To start the game our opponent's fans grabbed the ref...this would cause us much pain - as on turn 1, a catcher will fouled to death by their dirty player. We fought back, but another foul (this one by a non-dp with no assists) killed our best player. Our team was enraged and in particular Glitter was aghast at this event and proceeded to injury both enemy blitzers and two other elves (all 4 CAS in the first half). We stalled out for the entire first half and led 1-0 at halftime.

In the second half, our opponent scored quickly, but with the scorching heat, it was 8 vs 7...with our elves bashing hard, we stalled the rest of the game, it ended with only 3 enemy elves on the pitch and we scored to make it a 2-1 victory.

It was a brutal slugfest - not the normal high scoring elf affair. However a win is a win! Thanks to Pizza for being a good sport and opponent as always!”
